Our Toy Shop started in 2022 when we had an abundance of donations during the holiday season. We hosted the event at the Redford Library and offered 1,500 toys to local students in need. This one of a kind Christmas event will serve 500 local children in need this holiday season. The parents are invited by the schools to verify genuine need. Parents are able to choose 5 gifts and fill a stocking for each of their children! We have found a home for Toy Shop at Mt. Hope Congregational Church! We are so excited about all of our plans for 2026 Toy Shop. Besides minor changes from year to year, we plan to follow this template for all future Toy Shops.

Returning volunteers are welcome to volunteer at our 5th annual Toy Shop in December 2026. If you are a new volunteer we ask that you volunteer for set up or tear down for one year prior to volunteering at the actual Toy Shop.
