First Step

We are so excited to get back to doing projects for the residents at First Step Domestic Violence Shelter! In the past we have offered holiday dinners, gifts for the families, books to build a library and fun activities for the children! In 2026 we plan to provide birthday gifts for the moms, a Valentine's Day dinner and safety items for the families as they move out of the shelter. Our mission is to surround them with love and light during this difficult transition. These families have been through so much and the least we can D.O. is bring them a little D.O. it for Denny joy!

VOLUNTEER

In order to maintain the upmost safety and peace of mind to the families living at First Step, we do not offer in person volunteer opportunities for this project. If you are specifically looking for volunteer opportunities, please reach out to us!
